Cardinia firmware updater

Updates the firmware of a Cardinia over USB, from your browser. Chrome, Edge and other Chromium browsers only.

1. Connect your Cardinia

Unplug every other Cardinia and any other board in DFU mode, then plug in this one normally and click Connect. The updater reads the model so it can pick the right firmware.

Device does not appear, or you have your own firmware file? Use Recovery Mode.

2. Firmware

Connect your Cardinia first.

3. Update

The update takes two steps, because your Cardinia shows up as two different USB devices and Chrome asks you to choose one each time: first LPC (3a), then USB COMPOSITE DEVICE (3b).

3a Load the flasher

  1. Unplug the Cardinia.
  2. Hold the FW button and plug it back in. Release the button after about two seconds.
  3. Click Start and choose the device called LPC.

3b Write the firmware

  1. Click Continue and choose the device called USB COMPOSITE DEVICE.
  2. Wait while the firmware is erased, written and checked. The Cardinia restarts by itself.
